Hi This is komatuna123 here. How u all doing?? Well I'm good!! Everything is going well =] Now we are studing aout "Globalization" at English class and we will have to write essay about this topic later, so doing research a lot.
For my opinion, the main theme is to talk about Cultural effects this time. Globalization has affected the use of language across the world for the first. Therfore Globalization has joined different cultures and made it into something different. For example, what people eat and what they believe in and so on. Nowadays, people who are able to speak English is valuable because many foreign people come and visit to Japan like many situations, they are useful for this global society.
Anyway I have to reserch more about this topic and get ready to the time when I write essay about "Globalization" lol !!!!!
As we know, japanese people eat whale's meat, but foreign people saying that this is ridiculous. Whales belong among the mammals!!! they say. But I think what about caw?? pig?? they eat same kind meat as well.
Whaling is an interesting topic, and actually I agree with you. I don't think of whales as any more special than other creatures. If a species became extinct it would be quite sad, but they are not as endangered as many other wonderful creatures,such as tigers, orangutans etc. In fact Western countries used to hunt whales for their oil and were responsible for making the numbers low, so they are in no position to criticize Japan and Norway.

Whaling problem is interesting.
The movie "COVE" showed Japanese traditional hunt of dolphins is so bad worldwide. In fact, I feel it hurt my heart but it doesn't matter what Japanese people do to foreign people. How do you think?
返信削除What is the tradition? What is the itnernational low? It is very difficult to detect border between them. Tradition should not be invaded. while, If we could not be bounded by international low, our world was extinctioned.
